I am pleased to welcome you to the website where you can get to know more about us and our services.The idea of working together to develop and promote the wellbeing amongst the staff of Lubaga Hospital through the culture of communal savings and credit started way back in the early 1990’s. During this time Staff members formed what was then called the “Rubaga Hospital Club” and at one time the club received Entandikwa Credit Scheme in 1996 and 1997. Due to the successes that the staff registered over the years, Members then resolved to form a savings and credit society on 1 st march 2009 and on 24 th July 2009 the society was registered with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperative with a registration number 8949/RCS. It was inaugurated on 3rd /Oct.2009. The society started with 50 members of staff in 2009 and the numbers have progressively grown over the years to a total of 675 members, 0ver 2.2b worth of share capital, and about 0.68b worth of savings. This has been possible due to conducive working relationship between the Rubaga Hospital Staff SACCO and its “Mother” Organization, Lubaga Hospital that has been maintained between the two parties over all these years. Presently, we offer emergency loans 1-3 Months, Midterm loans (4-12 Months), and Long- term loans (13-24 Months) and (25-36 Months). We exist to improve and promote wellbeing of our members, and the community, and I am sure this website will provide all the information you need about us and our services.
